Every big car show starts as a rumor. Somebody mentions it at a cruise night, somebody else says they'd drive for it, and by the end of the week half the club has an opinion. The trouble is that opinions swapped over a hood don't tell you much. They can't tell you whether a few dozen friends are excited or whether thousands of people across two countries would make the trip.

That's the gap the Can-Am Nationals survey is meant to fill, and it's why this tracker page exists.

The question behind every survey response is a simple one:
Does the car community actually want this event?

Can-Am Nationals Survey

Why Guess When We Can Ask?

Think of the survey as the cheapest, safest test drive an event can have. Before anyone books a venue, files a permit or sits down with a sponsor, the first step is to find out what the car community wants. How far would you travel? What would you bring? What would make a weekend in Winnipeg worth the gas money, the hotel and the time off? Each completed survey adds a real answer to a question that otherwise gets guessed at.

What the Answers Will Tell Us

The results matter well beyond the car community. Sponsors, tourism groups, local businesses and municipalities all ask the same thing first: is there real demand? A pile of enthusiastic comments won't convince them, but a clear count of responses with the results laid out just might. The tracker shows where interest stands, so everyone can see the picture as it develops.

No Strings Attached

The survey is not a registration, a deposit or a promise. Nothing is being reserved and nobody is being asked to commit. It's a way to say "I'd come," "maybe" or "not for me," and every one of those answers helps. An honest "undecided" is as useful as a yes because it shows what organizers would have to get right to win people over.

Add Your Voice

If you've already taken the survey, thank you. Pass it along to the person in your club who always has the strongest opinions about car shows, because their answer counts too. If you haven't, it takes just a few minutes, and it's the quickest way to have a say in whether Winnipeg hosts the next big one.
